RMweb Premium SR71 Posted October 25, 2019 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 25, 2019 Hello All, With a day off I was about start my first project of the autumn soldering up a Wills kit... Filled up my trusty Rothenberger PT337 and it's sat on my desk as I type gently hissing as the filler valve now apparently leaks. Not wanting to blow myself up I think it's time to replace it. What do people recommend? No electric irons please, I know they have their following but I just do not get on with them. Thanks,
RobjUK
I'd highly recommend the Antex Gascat 120. If you buy it in the kit you get multiple sizes of soldering bits, hot air, blowlamp etc. I've had one for probably around 15 years & some of the original bits are still good, though I have replaced a couple of the smaller ones.
