GEOEng03
Hi, Does anyone have any experience of tactile paving sheets from scalescenes. Looking at these or perhaps sandpaper and LX213 Platform coping. Would be good to see it on a layout if poss and Google is not being too forthcoming... cheers https://www.scalemodelscenery.co.uk/tx202-oo-slabbed-modern-platform-texture-sheets-buff-pack-of-5-oo4mm176-1733-p.asp

jpendle
OK fella's, I totally confused. Scale Model Scenery sell their tactile paving in packs of 5 A4 sheets, you can't download it, it comes in the post. Scalescenes sell downloadable kits hat you print onto card, but unless you use textured card there won't be any texture. So the OP has the 2 confused, but it looks like MalcT is confused as well. Or maybe I'm confused! Help. John P

RMweb Gold MalcT Posted December 7, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 7, 2019 Firstly, sincere apologies to all for the confusion. John, you are correct, Scale Model Scenery sell preprinted sheets, product TX203-00 They have a related website called 'Railway Modellers Club' ( there is a direct link from Scale Model Scenery website) where as a member you can download various brick / paving sheets etc. This is where I obtained mine from - hence the confusion. It is described as 'Platform Texture Sheet' but obviously as it's a printed sheet there is no actual texture/relief to the product. Again, sorry for any confusion and incorrect product description. monkeysarefun
Although rather involved and requires use of an iron ( which could be dangerous unless done sneakily!!), check this out for a method of printing the platform surface and getting the texture and non-shiny appearance. Platform printing process starts at 7:25 Edited December 8, 2019 by monkeysarefun
