Best material for Modern engine shed. Carlisle Kingmoor?

Recommended Posts

Walthers and Pikestuff make buildings in that kind of material, some is already blue if you want the colour as well as the style and are daunted by painting a large area of material. Of course you're unlikely to find a building that exactly meets your needs but you do get accessories and fittings to use elsewhere.

I've used the Pikestuff kits many times.

They are pretty useful but often need a lower brick/block section adding below the cladding to make them appear more "British".

The building in the OP is of that type.

I often use the leftover parts from Pikestuff - doors/window frames etc for use with buildings clad with Evergreen

Have you seen the Peco LK-80 kit?

Whilst it's not identical to what you are looking for it's very modern in looks and highly versatile in that you can add to it in length and width.

Pikestuff do an extension kit to increase the length of the walls, however, they are hard to find in the UK and quite expensive.

Maybe cheaper to buy 2 of the above kits if you want something larger and add short brick walls to increase height and make them more like a UK structure (as suggested by Newbryford) . Model Junction, Slough have a good range of Pikestuff.
