RMweb Premium Michael Edge Posted February 14, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted February 14, 2020 Does anyone know what the headcode for the northbound West Coast TPO was in the 1960s? I know that the southbound one was 1M44 but I want to put both headcodes on the class 40 for this train on Carlisle.
RMweb Gold stovepipe Posted February 14, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 14, 2020 I believe it was 1S09 in the 1970s and 1980s.
RMweb Premium keefer Posted February 14, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted February 14, 2020 (edited) Couldn't find a 60s one with the headcode listed but this is from the 1970/1 ScR PTM book (courtesy Robert Carroll's io.group) Edited May 31, 2022 by keefer
RMweb Premium keefer Posted February 14, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted February 14, 2020 (edited) Found a 1965/6 formation (no headcode though) This is interesting for the variety of postal vehicles listed, yet the designation 'Z' is supposed to mean 'BR standard stock with pullman gangway and buckeye couplings'. Anyone know what these different length vehicles actually were? (AFAIK, all mk1 TPO were 64') Edited May 31, 2022 by keefer
