BR headcodes/train reporting numbers

Does anyone know what the headcode for the northbound West Coast TPO was in the 1960s? I know that the southbound one was 1M44 but I want to put both headcodes on the class 40 for this train on Carlisle.

I believe it was 1S09 in the 1970s and 1980s.

Couldn't find a 60s one with the headcode listed but this is from the 1970/1 ScR PTM book (courtesy Robert Carroll's io.group)

Found a 1965/6 formation (no headcode though)

 

This is interesting for the variety of postal vehicles listed, yet the designation 'Z' is supposed to mean 'BR standard stock with pullman gangway and buckeye couplings'. Anyone know what these different length vehicles actually were? (AFAIK, all mk1 TPO were 64')

Thanks, it was probably the same in the 1960s.
