fresian Posted March 3, 2020 Share Posted March 3, 2020 (edited) So, after a 20 year gap, I have finally managed to find the time to start building a small layout. ive spent many holidays visiting family in Alton, and visited the Mid Hants many times. The catalyst for this layout was my wife and kids buying me the Bachman’s Longmoor Military Railway pack for my 50th birthday. The layout is by no means a replica of Alton, but will hopefully be recognisable and have a few features including the brewery. I’ve already started kitbashing a Metcalf Models engine shed o make the brewery, and am also adapting the metcalf footbridge to look like the real one.
