Here we go heading over onto board #2 (left half of photo). This will get a bit of re-wiring as I’m reverting to Tortoise motors from the previous servos, then the scenery needs freshening up.

Newly arrived cottages seen alongside Lofthouse station. Three from one build in low relief. Photos show kit, build and end model. Now have Slaters plasticard finish.

LMS 4F #3999 runs around the short goods train.

Been working on the Transfer Board that links Lofthouse to my exhibition layout Kirtley Bridge.

Managed to realign this trackwork and squeeze the radius of the curve out to 43 inches. Also a little super-elevation helps, though this gets tricky where the curve reverses.

The curved line runs around to Lofthouse whilst the siding is used when the traverser is in place at exhibition.

Delightful layout and great job with the refurbishment.

I noticed you mentioned Tortoises earlier.  I have a bit of advice if you are not already aware, get the Circuitron edge connectors.  These have screw terminals and are much better that soldering direct to the board.

A similar product can be seen on my layout:

If you need to replace the board:

Ignore the shop, I daresay you can get these in UK.
