Ful re weathered br blue split box 37034,ive used msny skils n techniques for this weathering finish which im well chuffed with!!

had lots of modellers contacting me wanting to buy this one.

or asking for weathering on my fb group Banks road..

That 37 reminds me of the locos that I used to see on the Great Eastern mainline as a kid. I always remember the roof and nose ends absolutely filthy and you've got that look to a tee!

Picked up this Bachmann split box 37 up this afternoon,been after this one for sometime.

Not fan of Bachmann weathering,so ive  carefuly removed most and once again added my own using this time base coat humbrol matt brown 29,then working in some Tamiya weathering powders..

After good research on pictures of class 121 dmu,ive gone for sunbleached patch roof dmu,rusty vents and exhaust soot trails..

stil alot to do before its finished..

Another favorite on wotkbench this week for some dry brush on weathering!!

prefer this type weathering over airbrushing.

This weathering is more hands on,blending colours and making colour bleed using IPA in to caps round doors ..
