RMweb Gold Hroth Posted February 13, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 13, 2021 Recently I found a piece of card that I'd clipped from the back of a set of Humbrol Enamels many years ago. It was a list of suggestions for producing different colours not provided for in the set. Thought it might be useful! 2 4
RMweb Gold Tim Hall Posted February 13, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 13, 2021 May not still be relevant in term of the ratios. At least some of the paints will now be made using different formulations, for example reds, oranges and yellows probably used lead chromate or cadmium then, which they can't be now.
RMweb Gold Andrew D Posted February 13, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 13, 2021 That's extremely useful, thank you! I'm a huge advocate for mixing paints from primaries where you can get away with it - which is most situations! I recommend this set of 6 x 75ml acrylic paints at the Works. Only £4 and will last a LONG time!
