Cirencester Town Station

Asa part of a bigger layout I have decided to start with Cirencester Town Station set in the late 1930s. Working from photographs I have managed to draw the main shape of the main building and build a rough foam core model.

 

I have difficulties locating reference pictures from the late 30s, it is not clear what was built then. Has the rear smaller annex existed in the 30s? What shape did the canopy have?

 

Is there a source or publication with this material?

I like that idea, lovely station and track plan and an wonder if it would fit a LYR terminus?

I think Millstone Grit would be more appropriate than Cotswold Stone for an LYR terminus.

I would think the annex existed in the 1930s.  I can't see it being built to that ornate style after that.  Likewise the canopy was probably there then too.
