RMweb Gold tomparryharry Posted May 3, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 3, 2021 Hello Folks, I hope you're all doing well. I recently purchased a pre-built K's 'Aberdare' ( which is nice), but I need a set of building instructions, specifically the driving wheels assembly notes. Naturally, all information gratefully received and publicly acknowledged, and any cost you might incur in helping me out. Cheers, Ian.
Philou
Nah, you don't need instructions .... they're for wimps........................ On a serious note, the Aberdare was the one kit I should have liked to have. Hope you have fun with it. Cheers, Philip
RMweb Gold tomparryharry Posted May 4, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted May 4, 2021 Thank you. The one I've recently bought is nicely made, but the K's motor is, as we say Snafu'. I don't want to take it apart, until I know how to put it together..... Cheers, Ian.
outcastjack
@tomparry I don't have an Aberdare (sadly) but I do have a Dukedog which being outside framed should be fairly similar. Hopefully the attached photos make some sense. If your wheels are the D type attachment like my Dukedog then they are not great. It might be worth checking Alan GIbson etc to work out what you will need to replace them if they don't survive.

RMweb Gold tomparryharry Posted May 4, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted May 4, 2021 Thank you to Philou and Outcastjack for your prompt & informative response. As I said earlier, the K's motor is NFG, and I can replace the motor, but lack of knowledge on my part. Thank you folks! Ian.
