I once thought Auctions were good. Possibly if you attend in person and/or are a Trader that then sells on. Mostly the stuff is old and rubbish with the odd exception of a Shop's stock appearing.

Decent Houses charge around 25/30% and around £25 For Postage. Sounds a lot and is, but you can get some things, pay that and still get a bargain; just depends who wants what and where.

Sadly I don't need much these days so a set of 16 Bachman Coaches, new in boxes for around 160£, including charges, was not a bargain.

Was that stuff in my OP any good?

A friend bid on my behalf up to £320 but then stopped as agreed. With commision etc. the cost would have been close to £500.

Blimey. Cost new would have been (?), or was it old stuff?
