RMweb Premium MJI Posted November 22, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 22, 2021 OK I sprayed a few models yesterday, 4 had issues. 3 the tape ripped off paint but the undercoat was too hard so will be respraying anyway. Plastic card but the blue would not adhere to the grey done 3 months prior. Will be stripping and starting again and do within a week, this is just an annoyance. But the finish was perfect. I also sprayed two vihicles in maroon, one plastic, perfect, the other brass with U-Pol acid 8 primer. The paint on the etched vehicle was lumpy, almost orange peel. Precision enamels. What have I done wrong please? Have sprayed on Acid 8 OK before.
RMweb Premium Barry O Posted November 22, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 22, 2021 were the items warm? was the paint warm? Sometimes if it is damp or cold paint can do very strange things.. don't ask me how I know! Baz
RMweb Premium MJI Posted November 22, 2021 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted November 22, 2021 Not particularly warm but I suppose brass would be cooler
