Repeated requests to confirm preferences when using Chrome

I've recently been trying out Chrome as an alternative to Firefox and when on RMweb, I'm being continually asked for my preferences thus

even after having set privacy options. The site seems to be saving my privacy options, using the Privacy button

I'm using Version 100.0.4896.75 (Official Build) (32-bit)

This doesn't happen with Firefox. Has anyone else experienced anything similar?

If you wish to move away from the Firefox browser to a Chrome-based browser, an alternative may be to use Opera, Brave or Vivaldi since they all use a form of Chrome as the underlying browser engine, but without the google shadow cast over your usage. Those three each have their own implemetations of browser security.

Yes.  Also happening on Opera too.

Just needed to rule that part out. Have you cleared earlier cookies and history too?

If it's still doing it I may need to refer it to the Privacy plugin providers. It's happened once before.

OK, I cleared all browsing data, history, cookies etc.  and it's still repeating the message when I'm signed in.

It looks like it's saving the options OK but repeating the message.
