D9016
These are a few photos of my layout - Holm Road - based around Gloucester in 1981. Featured last month in RM. 8ft long x 18 inches wide plus fiddle yard. DCC, gradually converting locos with ESU/Legoman set-up. RMweb Premium Hal Nail Posted June 10, 2022 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 10, 2022 (edited) Nice. I particularly like that bottom photo and the dingy urban feel. Where are the 46 and 50 from? I've converted a Heljan 45 into a 46 but as first built. A blue with one piece headcode is in the to do pile. Edit: I meant the bottom one of the first set - the very convincing bridge behind the 25 - but I like both lots now more have gone up! D9016
Thanks. All Heljan, the 46 from a 45 and the unrefurbished 50 via a Proto Neo conversion kit.
47606odin
Superb. I love the blokes chatting round the back of the shed with the light in the background. obviously planning a dodgy scam for the next shift out of sight of the management

D9016
A few more images of Holm Road. Some more detailing is needed, then it's probably fairly complete in current guise. 9
RMweb Gold tractionman Posted June 26, 2022 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 26, 2022 truly superb modelling, even down to the lead flashing around the chimney--the arriving class 25 is especially life-like! cheers, Keith
