RMweb Premium Grampus Posted August 17, 2022 RMweb Premium Share Posted August 17, 2022 Evening all, I was lucky enough this morning as I drove to work to see a very shiny Cappagh blue-liveried class 60 at the head of an equally shiny set of aggregate boxes, heading East over the bridge across the Lincoln Eastern bypass. It would have made a lovely photo had I not been otherwise-engaged! Just wondered if anybody happens to know the identity of the loco, please? The train passed at about 0815 AM. Many thanks. Best wishes, Paul

Steadfast
Definitely 60028 @Lemmy282 @Grampus, it's the only blue DCR 60 at present. Jo
RMweb Premium njee20 Posted August 19, 2022 RMweb Premium Share Posted August 19, 2022 Saw it at Raynes Park last week, also on shiny JNAs, nice livery.

Jo Brilliant - thank you. I will up that from a 'most likely' to a 'definite'. It did indeed look very smart. I only rarely get to lineside these days, so most sightings tend to be coincidental, often in that location as I go to work! Thanks all for the help. Lemmy282
I wasn't sure if it was the only one in this livery. My son showed me some pictures the other day of 028 in the siding near Rotherham, so I assumed it would be that one as it was due to work a train through Lincoln.
