RMweb Gold ikks Posted December 3, 2022 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 3, 2022 Has anyone tried one of these?, I have looked at the You Tube reviews and it seems to be be reasonable starter for a DCC Novice like me. I have a couple DCC locos to try, so any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Rgds..Mike
WIMorrison
The only time I have seen one in use was at a small show and the person showing how ‘flexible’ it was constantly confused whether he needed DC or DCC for the model he was trying to run, and frequently used the wrong choice. Caveat Emptor is what I would advise.
RMweb Gold Oldddudders Posted December 3, 2022 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 3, 2022 Oddball, quirky and overly-basic systems are the last thing a DCC-newbie needs, IMHO. Buy a decent, reputable system from a DCC specialist, and advice and tips will be forthcoming on all sides, should you need them. Almost certainly there will be an upgrade path if you find you want to expand system capabilities. 2
