Scott Read
Hi Everyone, I'm looking to add so weight to my locomotives to improve track adhesion, now I know this needs to be in the area over (or below) the driving wheels. Does anyone have any experience/advice of doing this please? Or product recommendations? These loco's are just the start as I would like to get all my stock able to pull longer trains but these are the larger locos and as such i'm hoping the easier ones to "mess with". RonnieS
Well I don't quite know what happened there! I was going to suggest you adapt SS's methods. You need to read all is posts .
RMweb Premium melmerby Posted January 10, 2023 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 10, 2023 The weight doesnt have to be directly over the driving wheels. If you split the weight 50/50 and have some fore and some aft it has the same effect, as the bogie/pony/cartazzi wheels don't take any of the load. 1
