Hi

so after being facanated with railways from a young age I decided to build a model railway.

went a bit mad bying 00 locos only to find I didn't have the space for prototipcal trains I have decided to go 009.

short trains and lots that can be 3d printed.

so will have sum locos up for sale when I am alowd to.

There's some very nice RTR locos and stock coming through at the moment in OO9. Yesterday I was admiring a little display diorama in Monk Bar Models in York. The engines seemed like jewels with rich colours and glints of brass.

There was a magnificent layout exhibited at York show a few years back with a beach scene and harbour. A marvel.

Or....convert your 00 gauge stuff to SM32.  16mm gauge, 32 mm scale.

SM32 is SM stands for 16mm/ft scale, on 32mm gauge ;)

16mm scale would make it 12” gauge or G scale on 16.5mm is known as Gn15

In 009 look at the Minitrains range as well as Bachmann and Heljan and note the Heljan 2.6.2’s are happiest on mainline 18inch radius and can be prone to some derailments on the 12 inch crazy track, they won’t go round the 9 inch set track.

I stand corrected in my orthopaedic shoes! I should have said " Put bigger bodies on your 00 gauge chassis!" Captain Pugbash!
