RMweb Premium Footy Posted March 11, 2023 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 11, 2023 Surprised there's been no reaction to this news, which I think is a really exciting development. If Dapol follow the same pattern of development here as they employed for their RTP signals then other company types will surely follow. Well done Dapol! Got my order in already. Now, how about 4mm scale?

brossard
I have one of the Dapol semaphores on my layout and it works really well, even down to the arm bounce when returning to danger. However, the signal has to be commanded to actuate (mine has the DCC decoder). I was wondering if anyone has thoughts about how to arrange things so that the ground signals move when the turnouts get set (perhaps not entirely prototypical). I'm using Tortoises with Wabbit stationary decoders. It would be too tedious I think to command these separately every time. Maybe a bit early since these aren't out yet. RMweb Gold The Johnster Posted July 8, 2023 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 8, 2023 (edited) Any chance of these following the diagram N autotrailer through the 4mm shrink ray? Edited July 8, 2023 by The Johnster

two tone green
I saw them last Saturday at the SVR O gauge get together and they looked good. Will be getting a few for my layout
RMweb Gold The Johnster Posted October 13, 2023 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 13, 2023 I am hoping that these will eventually follow the Diagram N through the 4mm shrink ray, as working, lit, ground signals will make a big difference to my layout. I have an ultimate intention to have night operating sessions to recreate winter evening and early morning running, and a night shift at the colliery though that doesn't need signals... It would mean a sizeable (for me) chunk of money heading for North Wales; I'd need about a dozen!
