meatloaf
So on my previous layouts ive used the Gaugemaster autofrogs. And whilst they worked well there was a load of wiring. So, this time in an attempt to reduce the wiring somewhat ive got a Hex Frog Juicer. Im undecided yet weather to use Code 100 electrofrogs or the new bullhead unifrog track. A couple of question if i may. The instructions say the points dont need to be modified but ive always modified the point by cutting the wires at the back and bonding the rails. Do i still need to do this? Im assuming not on the unifrog If i use a bullhead double slip do i wire just as 2 points - so each frog wire to a different frog output on the juicer? RMweb Gold RFS Posted August 1, 2023 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 1, 2023 You still need to modify the code 100 points if you want best reliability. Makes no difference what's actually switching the frog polarity. On the double-slip you are correct - each frog needs managing separately so as all possible routes through the slip are correctly set electrically.
