Cutting open a Resin building

Does anyone have any tips for cutting open a resin building ( like from Hornby , Bachmann etc )

 

What to open up one to build a scene inside

Any choice is cutting equipment ?

If you have access to one, a band saw is a good bet for slicing the ends and sides off a resin building, preferably outside and wearing a mask.

Yes, I've used a Multitool and a grinder with cutting disc to chop up and modify a pair of Kernow clay dries. Did the cutting outside with decent mask and eye protection. Also used my garage vacuum cleaner to extract dust as cutting.
