Manning Wardle 0-4-0s and Sara Burgess VB locos

Recommended Posts

Hi they pre-dated the F class and were slightly smaller all round, though the wheelbase was the same. There are several photo's, a drawing, and particulars of all the locomotives in Fred Harman's 'The Locomotives built by Manning, Wardle, and Co. - Volume 2, Standard Gauge.'

Class H was bigger than the F. There were only 2 standard gauge class C and they appear to have been smaller than D, and therefore than E too.

There was a Class A as well, which I think was standard gauge. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a one-off...image.png.b8a9445b4558eee644e3b8570a92b716.png
