Accurascale Class 37 Factory Fitted Sound

I have a Drs class 37 sound fitted. When pulling away it doesn't 'thrash' the motor just cuts in and out as if coasting at low speed until it gets to a certain point and Motor stays on constantly. This still happens with heavy load set. I'm guessing I'm doing something wrong and that there is nothing wrong with it.

if you throw the throttle right round, it triggers the wheel slip and it wont accelerate whilst simulated wheel slip occurs. Ease up on the throttle a tad and it wont trigger the slip.
