Tigger Posted July 12, 2010 Share Posted July 12, 2010 I am looking for someone with a steady hand to paint 2 Bachmann Class 47 bodies in Royal Claret. I am sure that is only the sides and around the cab windows that need doing as they are both "Sir Rowland Hill" in RES livery and the roof colour is correct as are the warning panels. I am happy to apply the transfers and the name plates but my spray painting skills leave a lot to be desired Can anyone help please Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Tigger Posted September 17, 2010 Author Share Posted September 17, 2010 Just to let you know that Peter from PH Designs took on the task of repainting the bodies and the results are fantastic. I supplied him with the paint, transfers and etched plates and he did the rest I still have lots to do, return the buffers to steel colour, replace the tanks etc. etc. 47798 Prince William and 47799 Prince Henry have both had some electrical conversion done to give independant control of the tail lights and directional cab lights. Tigger Posted September 26, 2010 Author Share Posted September 26, 2010 I have been doing some more work on 47799 Prince Henry. 1. Added P H Designs Class 47/57 Steps (These are so detailed) 2. Added Single RCH Jumpers to each end 3. Fitted correct Fuel Tanks and painted orange pipes 4. Removed RH lamp bracket from each end 5.
