Heljan supply a little 2pin plug with trailing wires on most of their recent models for connecting the speaker.

Anyone know where to get replacements or even what type of plug they are in reality (some sort of JST type thing)?

I believe Roads and Rails do a wired plug like that .

They used to (their ebay sale page even still comes up in a search but out of stock). Only seem to have a plug for the Cavalex 56 now which looks to be too big.

ebay or amazon might be your friend here. They are JST. 2.5mm plugs and sockets with wires.

That sounds a tad large. The Hornby HM7K ones are 0.8mm pitch.

I have no idea if the Heljan ones are the same.

The Hornby TXS ones are slightly bigger than the Heljan plugs.

On the plus side I managed to find one I bought from Roads and Rails when they still sold em.
