Timber
Hi I want to 3D print my own Gloucester and Attock grease axleboxes. Does anyone know the best reference books for drawings and photos? I have drawings of the axleboxes on wagon drawings but they lack detail. Thank you.
RMweb Premium corneliuslundie Posted May 16 RMweb Premium Share Posted May 16 There are detailed drawings of several wagon axleboxes in Watts, A J: "Private owner wagons from the Ince Waggon & Ironworks Co" (HMRS, 1998), including Attocks patent and Ellis' Patent, as well as several designs which are not specifically ascribed to a company, both grease and oil. Most are dated 1906. There are also detailed drawings of other components such as brake levers and springs. The book is still available though stocks are getting low: https://hmrs.org.uk/private-owner-wagons-ince-waggon-co-book.html Jonathan 1
