hayfield
A Jamieson Pannier arrived in the post today and differs to an old Pannier I wrongly thought was a Jamieson I got this as a teenager (pre Hornby Pannier) and started to do it up, I must have used a 2" paint brush. The body is made from a brass coloured metal (same as the JayDee coaches), the wheel splashers are pressed out from the tank sides I think from previous threads the motor is a Pitman, Romford Wheels. It was a 3 rail and I started to convert it to 2 rail. The Jamieson chassis is there for comparison. Thanks

RMweb Gold Mikkel Posted September 15, 2010 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 15, 2010 Looks like RM evans, see earlier posts under that heading. In that case, your model may be the one listed in the MREMAG loco database under 57xx-97xx, according to which R.M Evans introduced a 57xx kit in 1947: http://www.mremag.com/articles/col-18.12.99/MREmag%20Loco%20Database.htm Sadly I know nothing about R.M. Evans, other than the old Pimlico Rd address evident on the box.
