alcoRS1
I'd love some Bar Mills stuff on Sweethome Chicago but $$ Jon it is always the $$$, but that is a good thing, it is making me scratch build and plan my layouts better.
RMweb Gold Oldddudders Posted October 5, 2010 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 5, 2010 My only Bar Mills experience is one of their cheapo plastic things, I think. I have done some O gauge Banta kits, and if I get my a**e in gear they might get some exposure here. Wood is certainly fun to work with, but does demand some specific techniques - such as avoiding acrylics 'cos the water makes the wood curl a bit! I also have an annoying habit of not quite finishing things, so all those little details that make Jack's link look really super stay unpainted in the box... RMweb Gold Gilbert Posted October 5, 2010 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 5, 2010 Its been a while since I bought a big "craftsman" kit but I'm severely tempted. This look a winner. Chris
