I'm going back to bed....

FWIW, I didn't really sleep well either. This was at least in part due to some very painful cramps I had in the middle of the night. I think I'll be going home early today...

Unlike yesterday I won't be re-enacting Mad Dogs and Englishmen etc, as there is total cloud cover but it isn't cold.

I've been typing loads of details into the holiday website. I now seem to have provided enough information to actually be issued with an E Ticket. With the list of pre existing conditions we all have I gave up on the free insurance with my bank, and just insured through Saga, they understand these things! (please note, I'm not actually going on a Saga cruise, though I believe the average age on these trips isn't that different to Saga's minimum.

I've just checked our local rail website. Aditi shouldn't have too much trouble getting home. The train cancellations were caused by a body on the line. Website suggests it was related to an attempted cable theft.

Dom, Go for a walk after dinner, that may help you to sleep.

Best, Pete.

Morning All,

It is rather a gloomy morning here, and incredibly humid. Thunderstorms are forecast for later.

It looks like it will be a rather busy day.

Have a good one everybody...

Morning all,

It's very wet here, rain & thunder all night long, this going to make today's travels and site visit "interesting"! to say the least......last evenings trip home (from a multi-national meeting) which should have taken just over an hour, took three......

Never mind eh?

What ever you're up to today,

Try and enjoy,

Trev

Morning all.

Robert already reported on our local weather, so I won't have to mention it is definitely looking like rain and thunder may be due.

Oops...

It's much too warm to be sleeping well, too, so I guess I'll need some time to get up to speed. No cramps this past night, though - thankfully.

One dry day between rain!

Only partly cloudy today, no rain, BUT Rain forecast for the next six days, Fortunately only showery from now until next week, not like Belfast today and yesterday.

We still don't know at what time either Dawn or Lisa go to bed..

Morning all,a bit cloudy out side not looking good for tonight's prom DD2 is the first and last to go thankfully. It does have a feeling of a wedding rehearsal so I can empathise more with Gordon this is just her plus boyfriend going out to an event, it has cost a small fortune and endless time to organise.

Thanks Mick! With just 17 days to go the tension is being racked up with every phone call/email and tempers seem to be getting shorter by the minute. I'm quite glad to get away from it all today....

Like most things in life, the details take far more time than the basics. I just wish kids would understand an effort v return curve. Hours of work for something that will get noticed for minutes at best seems a complete waste to me, but then what do I know about life.... :)

Morning All, Just had a clearing up shower but things are brightening. I ordered it 'cos I thought Gordon would want the golf course to look fresh and green. Better get and polish me golf bats so I don't get wupped too badly by the old bu**er.

Have a good one all.

Cheers

Dave

Morning all.

Cloudy and rather warm here.

Robbie must have eaten something nasty while we were out in the park yesterday as we had a bit of clearing up to do this morning. He has just eaten a bowlful of boiled rice so his appetite is OK. It must be the day for things of that nature as Aditi's parting request was to do something to her roses with chicken manure.
