Building GWR Hawksworth's & Collett coaches....

Recommended Posts

Geoff at Comet has informed this morning the following 60ft GWR coaches have etched in droplights....

W14 GWR Dia. A22 corridor first.

W16 GWR Dia. E162 corridor composite.

I would almost certainly have built the E162 had I known about the droplights but it is too late now. So in reply to il Dottore, I would recommend the W16 to start with as it is even easier.

Thanks for this update. Will get the sides at Waerley and have a go

Doh... :sadclear:

Its November 5th and its drech outside - typical!

So what is next with your GWR rake sorted.

You do realize you have some of us addicted now.

Sooner I get things settled over the house move the better as I'm getting an itchy soldering iron now :biggrin_mini2:

Cue excesses of dribbling

Totally stunning Coach - as ever.

I think you have done more to expose the wiles of coachbuilding these last few months more than any book can....

Lovely job(s). Whilst Coach has built a whole b****y train, totally painted etc. I have managed to just solder a couple of coach kits and they aren't even finely detailed. Bah!<_<

However it's now raining here too so I couldn't take any pictures of anything anyway!

Are the Gresley/Thompson suburban set(s) next on the list for your LNER site then Coach?:P
