RMweb Gold beast66606 Posted November 8, 2010 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 8, 2010 Sorry guys took me 20 seconds, once I'd twigged that two frogs of the same colour couldn't be together in the middle, it was meerkat "simples"
DonB
I meant to add that I got this from a teacher, who said, Quote... In addition to the stuff on the web page I know that this was often set as coursework for Year 8 (12/13 year olds) in some schools locally. They had to do more than solve it they had to write up mathematically what they had done and work out a method for more frogs and uneven numbers on each side. I will be quite honest and say the first time I met it, I took ages to do the calculation for all possibilities. My Brain Hurts!
