class37418stag
Coincidentally, only this morning I placed a pre-order for the green Class 31 (R2042A, of D5511) that Hornby are producing (not listed in the catalogue), due out in "December". Have you heard the info above by not listed in the catalogue so Anyone have heard class 31 green by plain or green with small yellow panel from R.2042A ?!?!? Thank you
RMweb Gold RFS Posted November 21, 2010 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 21, 2010 The correct catalogue number for the all-green D5511 is R2420A not R2042A. It's available from Hatton's. R2420A D5511 at Hatton's

RMweb Gold RFS Posted November 24, 2010 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 24, 2010 Ive just picked one of these up on good old ebay!! got it cheap to,due to the "football" being on the tv the other night, and only one bid.......... Hope it's chassis is OK. Many of these R2420 ones suffered from broken chassis but the later R2420A is OK, I believe. My R2420 D5512 suffered from this problem and was repaired by Hornby - new chassis and new body was required and it's now D5511.
