RMweb Gold Garry D100 Posted November 24, 2010 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 24, 2010 And if you think they will cost 50p, think again. Just found this snipet of news, only in this country can they get away with selling a 50p piece for £2.99 http://www.mirror.co...15875-22712767/ to that, and there will be 29 of them to collect. Edit. And you can see them all here http://www.royalmint.com/sportscollection/site/default.aspx?promcode=FV6PRA
Horsetan
I hear the coins will be made of cast mazak alloy, and may be at risk of metal fatigue later on.....
RMweb Gold The Stationmaster Posted November 24, 2010 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 24, 2010 I see the wheel chair on the 'wheelchair rugby' coin has got an incorrect pattern of driving wheels spokes.
Bernard Lamb
And if you think they will cost 50p, think again. Just found this snipet of news, only in this country can they get away with selling a 50p piece for £2.99 That's the price directly from the Royal Mint. What price from the Hornby box shifters? £4.99 for an album to put them in is also a bit of a rip off. I would have thought that any one buying all 29 ought to qualify for a free album. stewartingram
Is it true that for every 10 you buy they substitute a blue paper slip? Cuts down on the weight and saves on postage I'm told.... There was one enterprising box shifter who offered to do a BACS transfer straight into your account too!
