RMweb Gold Gilbert Posted November 14, 2010 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 14, 2010 I'm working through a GWR 4mm version - but its currently in a project box in the shed - I was distracted by something else for an exhibition I think - but I'm ready to prime the roof, windows, panels and wooden frame but as you can tell I'm taking my time. It seems like a very high quality product - I was careful to ensure I had the right solder for the corner joints and jigged them up very carefully - they also recommend a particular 3M spray glue for the windows - I got some but it was expensive! My advice? Read the instructions Then read them again. Then read them a third time Then photocopy them, blow them up and refer to them throughout... I also substituted plastic gutters and drain pipes from (I think) Wills or Dornaplas I am yet to attempt the staircase...I feel Plastruct and/or Central valley coming on...
