PenrithBeacon
My YouTube film of Friday and Saturday at this event can be found at: Both Black Fives 44871 and 44767 are featured as is Austerity 90733, Jinty 47279, Nunny and, briefly, the LYR 0-6-0. Locations are Haworth, Keighley, Oxenhope and Damems and the footpaths, very muddy and treacherous footpaths, in between. Sunday's footage will follow, probably tomorrow. woodenhead
That was one of the best sounding recordings I have heard in a long time, real clarity. With the wildlife in the background some of it reminded me of the old Argo Transacord records. Excellent camera angles too.

PenrithBeacon
I have now uploaded my film of the Sunday, an extremely wet Sunday, of the gala. I avoided the footpaths on this day, that from Howarth to Oxenhope being akin to Flanders, and consecrated on the more usual locations. These are Howarth, Keighley, Oxenhope and Howarth again. Locomotives featured are 90733, 47279, 44871, 44767, Nunlow (which was showing signs of patch painting on the nearside tank), 80002 and LYR 951. The film can be found at the link below and I hope everyone enjoys it. Regards
coachmann
Just spent a very pleasant half hour watching your two videos. Excellent sound and picture. To my mind the K&VWR more than any other line has always encapsulated the real days of steam and I do like the idea of fixed a period (maroon coaching stock). edcayton
Thank you very much indeed. Most impressive. You have managed to avoid it looking like a preserved line, mainly by choice of location and avoiding too many extra people. A pity you can't repaint the orangemen though! Jordan-Leeds
The high Vis clad staff and photographers are a sign of the times i am afraid i certainly wouldn't wish to put my own safety at risk for the sake of a few photographers.
