mvrnut
I am considering changing the livery on a Hornby N15 Sir Meliagrance from BR green to S.R. olive green in 1930s condition. As I have never attempted anything like this before I am looking for advice on this project. How should I go about it? From where can I obtain nameplates and cabside plates for this loco? Any advice is most welcome.
RMweb Gold Graham_Muz Posted March 14, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 14, 2011 Hi If you can get hold of a copy of the January 2011 issue of Hornby Magazine (issue 43) I had an article published on doing just what you want to to (alhough was repaining an N15 into Malachite the priciples are the same). I wouild suggest Modlamaster decals for the nameplate and cabside plates.
mvrnut
Hi Graham, Many thanks for the info. And thanks for jogging my memory. I do have the Hornby magazine in question and do now remember reading your article. I shall have to dig it out. I was not aware of Modelmaster before, so will have a look at that. Thanks again, Chris
