grahame
Another great issue IMO. I thought the balance was very good with narra gauge restrained from it's usual RM coverage but still represented, plus interest for RMweb with Newhaven Harbour and some great pics throughout. My only slight concern was there is no review of the new Dapol N gauge HST125; perhaps it missed the editorial deadline(or maybe it's been delayed). G. CullingworthGNR
This was the first new copy of Railway Modeller magazine I've bought, and I was very impressed. It might sound daft but I thought the adverts were better than in other magazines, as it seems like a complete directory of everything you could need as a modeller. I also prefer the photos as (in my humble opinion) they showcase the models better than the slightly synthetic approach seen in other publications. In comparison with Model Rail, I did find that it is less well suited to a 2 minute read here and there, but I did enjoy the extensive coverage of many different types of layout - particularly the excellent Newhaven Harbour.
