Sunnysa
I am working on a G2 0-8-0 wirh ESU Loksound is there a listing of what CV,s contol what sounds I would like the exhaust sound to be louder and to tone down the whistle. DC Snr A Brit in the USA Presuming it is a V3.5 Loksound CV63 = over all volume. Cv121 = hon/whistle CV122 = bell Cv123 = Auxiliary & motor/chuff sounds. value range on all is 0-64. If it is V4 Loksound, I don't know yet. Ian

RMweb Gold Oldddudders Posted April 23, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 23, 2011 You might try downloading the manual for your decoder from this page. http://www.esu.eu/en/downloads/instruction-manuals/digital-decoders/
Matador
JMRI reads it as a 2.5 and the CV,s only go to 121 David
Nigelcliffe
JMRI reads it as a 2.5 and the CV,s only go to 121 David Eh ? I can't see an ESU LokSound "2.5" in my JMRI copy (v2.11.4), and the CV's go to well over 200. What version of JMRI are you running ? Decoder identification in JMRI is always approximate, the maker is usually good, but the decoder model is only as good as the use of version numbers by decoder makers. Some makers use numbers which can be understood, others are impossible to interpret. - Nigel
