Station Colours - All UK Companies (well almost)

On another Forum, LNWRmodeller of this Forum, has posted a useful web site reference for Station Colour Schemes,

I've referenced it here as I thought it a good source of info.

and certainly more helpful than the prior post on the other (un-named) Forum.

 

But why do people insist on Black backgrounds to their web pages?.

Thanks Penlan for that super link. I'm referencing it in the Waverley Route Group, I'm sure it is a staple reference source that we will be returning to frequently across the forum, it also (from a ScR perspective at least) brings us back into line when we have fanciful ideas about how flamboyant the prototype really was - it was actually far more austere (which is how I like it - less-is-more!).
