(See, I'm such a tight tick I still didn't buy any!) Anyway here's the Hornby reply... Skale Lighting Current Draw details.. All current draw figures expressed have been rounded up and are for use as guide. It is recommended that the user measure current draw in the ???real life??? situation if more accuracy is required. It is recommended that appropriate fuses are used with each power supply or power strip installed on your layout. Short circuits can lead to FIRE. R8952 Bulbs Each individual bulb will draw.. 12 VDC/VAC ~ 50mA 16 VDC/VAC ~ 60mA Power needed for multiple bulbs in typical installations. General Power Supply Requirements for given number of bulbs wired in a parallel configuration. From a 16 VDC/VAC 1Amp rated Power Supply you could run about 14-16 bulbs. From a 16 VDC/VAC 500mA rated PSU you can run about 7-8 bulbs. From a 12 VDC/VAC 1Amp rated Power Supply you could run about 18-20 bulbs. From a 12 VDC/VAC 500mA rated Power Supply you could run about 9-10 bulbs. R8951 Power Strip Power requirements. The power strip will supply power to 12 individual bulbs in parallel. The total current draw for each strip when fully populated will be.. 12 VDC/VAC ~ 600mA 16 VDC/VAC ~ 750mA R8949 Double Socket Power Requirements. The power strip will supply power to 2 individual bulbs in parallel.
