RMweb Gold Oldddudders Posted August 2, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 2, 2011 Afternoon chaps. Found a very intresting website devoted to Nine Elms Shed. Has some lovely pics of the locos, the engineman and some fond memories of those worked ther. Hope its of use to some of you. The site also seems to be "live" with regular additions making it worth revisiting. The "Shedmaster" (webmaster) is revealed to be John McIvor, a career railwayman, whose pictures were regularly published in Modern Railways while he was still a teenager. bike2steam
Yep, an excellent website that's been around for a couple of years now, there's even a couple of pics of an ex next door neighbour of mine - Reuben Hendicott, one of Nine Elms three 'racers'. trent
It's a great website with lots of useful and interesting info. Got me thinking, has there ever been an attempt at modelling all of part of the MPD? Martin
