Tim Hale
Did Hornby ever make a short-frame M7 in BR livery with the leading sand boxes below the footplate? If so, what was the product code? The BR only short frame version seems to R2626 but has sandboxes integral with the splashers. BTW, the SEMG product list is wrong , it describes Hornby R2627 as being short frame with sandboxes below the footplate but this product code refers to the AIX tank. Many thanks Tim
RMweb Gold Graham_Muz Posted August 3, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 3, 2011 Tim I am not aware of the short frame version with below footplate sandboxes having been produced by Hornby in anything other than Maunsell Green as number 357. You are correct in that there is an error in the Semg variations listing and I have notified the webmaster accordingly. If I get the time I will update all the model variations pages on the site with the later releases as this has not been done for some time.
