RMweb Gold Revolution Ben Posted August 16, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 16, 2011 Hello all, NGS to launch two new products The N Gauge Society is launching two new wagon kits – aimed at NGS members modelling the present day scene - at the N Gauge International Show in September. NGK027B - YSA/YWA "Salmon" track carrier post-1998 Our existing BR Salmon kit (NGK027a) is being offered as NGK027b – depicting the Salmons in post-1998 condition with upgraded bogies. This kit also includes revised etch artwork and dedicated decals for CE Dutch, yellow and EWS maroon liveries. This kit is priced at £14.45 individually, and in multipacks of three (£41.20), five (£65.05) and ten (£122.55.) NGK043 - YKA "Osprey" track carrier Launched at the same time is the all new is NGK043 YKA "Osprey" track panel carrier. These wagons were converted from standard Salmons with the addition of robust end frames and off-centre stanchions to enable standard 60’ track panels to be loaded quickly and easily, and without the need for time-consuming strapping. The model features similar parts to the YSA/YWS Salmon kit, but also incorporates dedicated decals and whitemetal end and centre frame components mastered for the NGS by TPM maestro Bernard Taylor. An etched brass jig to ensure correct and accurate placing of the frame parts is also included. The model has been designed to accept panels of 2mm scale "Easi-trac" for those who wish to model it loaded, and the instructions include information on correct loading regulations. This kit is priced at £16.30 individually, and in multi-packs priced at £46.45 for three, £73.35 for five and £138.55 for ten. cheers Ben A. Please note - For tax reasons the NGS can only supply its kits to members. Annual membership is £15, with a £5 one-off joining fee. Our RTR items and kits can sometimes be found on online auction sites, but please don’t get ripped off - sometime the final price ends up being more than the cost of the model plus membership! Steadfast
Hi Ben, Osprey looks very tasty, I've been wanting to model these since the conversions were first carried out. Guess I'll be visiting the NGS stand at Leamington then! jo
