45669
Whilst waiting for 'Sir Nigel Gresley' yesterday, I saw First Great Western 57603 trundle northward on the down slow line. There are a couple of pictures on my Fotopic site in the 'Stop Press!' collection : http://ronfisher.fotopic.net/p62310844.html and http://ronfisher.fotopic.net/p62310845.html They will be there for a couple of weeks or so; I shall then transfer them to the Main Line Diesel collection in the second gallery. They will then be here : http://ronfisher2.fotopic.net/c1388071.html Does anybody know where it was going, and why?
Steadfast
Hi Ron, I'd assume it's taking the buffet (and perhaps itself too?) north for refurb, possibly to Kilmarnock, but I wouldn't have thought that would have used the ECML. Just because the buffet is Neon on the outside, it isn't neccesarily refurbed on the inside yet. cheers jo
