firefly9
i bought a Hornby model 47 on ebay recently and am wanting to detail it, particularly front end stuff like air pipes, electrical connections etc. I was thinking of doing a 47/7 and/or one with ploughs. However i dont think the 47/7's had ploughs but could anyone confirm this. The model has had mods to the water tanks and battery areas so i cant really not make it a shove duff. has anyone got any pictures of appropriate front ends for these locos and also know of any appropriate kits or mod ideas i can do. I know the Hornby 47 is not the best model in the world but i'm not looking to do a super duper all singing and dancing etc upgrade just one that gives a reasonable impression of a 47. Raffles
None of the original batch of 47/7s (the ScotRail ones) carried snowploughs.
