DaveClass47
Hi, very inspiring layout. I especially like the retaining wall that runs along the back of the TMD. You said in an earlier reply that these are ration walls?, but the ratio walls I can see online are only 45mm tall (which is too small for what I need). What height are yours? They look just right! Also, how did you paint/weather them? What paints did you use? They look brilliant! Finally, the buttresses...do they come with the pack?, or did you make them?, what brick pattern sheet did you use?, I would love to use your wall design on my layout given the chance! Hope you can get back to me. Cheers. Dave
briantwigley
Looks like a great layout, especially if it's a first time! Trackwork looks great. Ryan
hoovernut
Evening Dave. The walls on the layout originally were ratio but I have swapped them out for ones from international models. They are a sort of foam and the buttresses are attached. They are grey I colour but the ones on the layout have been heavily weathered with a mix of Railmatch weathered black and track dirt.
