CraigZ
http://www.railpictures.net/index.php - search for photographer Bob Krone and by newest posted. You'll get a treasure trove of great 1950s/1960s photos, plus starting on page 3 a handful of UK, French and German prototype photos. Really nice stuff. Allegheny1600
Fantastic stuff, thanks Craig! Bob certainly travelled well - and with colour (color?) film to boot! I only wish there were more colour photos of BR in the late 50's & early 60's! Cheers, John E. PS I always select 90 photos per page - you can hunt or browse quicker then! trisonic
You want me to try and pin this at the top of USA and Canadian so we can add more links to collections as they come along (and find it easier for the future? Best, Pete.
AndrewC
A few of my digital crappysnaps. The majority of my railfan photography was on 35mm and destroyed in the great basement flood of 2002. I've got some more Canadian stuff to add yet. http://s434.photobucket.com/albums/qq67/andrewcocker/US%20and%20Canadian%20trains/
CraigZ
And who said locals had to be short trains? This local has about three dozen flat and bulkhead flats on the roll (from the Nucor steel mill at Tunis, North Carolina) along with a good variety of other cars. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_y2LVYbfHM And let's have a little orange juice while we're at it Videographer is my friend Anthony Randall. Have a look at some of his other videos. He's a university student and does nice work...

Jon Gwinnett
Cool isn't it. My other thought is that that's relatively recent history (1995) and yet how much has changed - no Rio Grande, not many SW1200s on Class ones (if any), etc

CraigZ
eye candy of the unusual and possibly ugly kind http://www.railarchi...tion/km9501.htm Now THAT'S kinky. I knew the NYC and CNJ had tank engines used in commuter services (NYC on the Bostan & Albany out of Boston, CNJ out of Jersey City), but have never seen one with that kind of fairings on the tanks. Very strange. And speaking of Bahstahn (Boston), here's another killer Shorpy image, this of Bahstahn Hahbahr http://www.shorpy.com/node/11916?size=_original

trisonic
Yes, but I'm surprised by the number of Non-Steam sail only ships visible - could it be older than stated? Best, Pete.

All the same, I guess those sailing ships Trisonic Pete pointed out probably don't include many Tea Clippers?
