Rick_Skateboard
Hello All, Does anyone know where I can get 0.5 x 0.5mm square brass rod? I've found everything bigger, but not that! Does it even exist?! Cheers, Rick

Rick_Skateboard
Thanks for the replies guys. I guess if the square wire comes in a coil it will be very flimsey! Rick

billbedford
Thanks for the replies guys. I guess if the square wire comes in a coil it will be very flimsey! Not sure what you mean by 'flimsy', but coiled wires will usually be softer than hard drawn rod and will need straightening.
Rick_Skateboard
I meant that if it was straightend out and used to represent point rodding it might sag between stools or be easily bent. Rick
davknigh
That depends on how far apart your supports are. If you work to scale distances it will not be a problem. Straighten the wire by clamping one end in a vice, grasp the required length firmly with a pair of pliers, pull until you feel the wire 'give' a little and your wire is straight.
