Hi Mate,

Love your Photos, The one looking at the Class 37 from Ground Level looks great, that how I like to take my Photos of Layout to give that touch of reality, as if it were the real thing, as we do when we take photos in real life we point the camera up towards the cab of down the lengh of the loco...

Cool... I want to see more like it... other photos are great as is the layout... but class 37 does it for me on your photos.

regards

Jamie

Hi Jamie thanks for the kind words, much appreciated.

100% agree with you about the photos pointing upwards they are deffenantly a winner for me too, like you said that's how we would do close-ups on the real things, I played around with the DMU's perticually the 150, with shots looking as tho it's taken from aboard the train passing or halted at the station, it's something different than head on shots for example.

Glad you like the layout, and those grotty 37's, Bachmann editions are first choice for me.

Can't help but miss EWS 37's from polkyth, I think I'll have to do something about that!!

I'll upload some more lower level shots of the loco's.

I'm finally printing signs off at the minute, taken me ages to get round to it. Slowly but surely it will get done, as with most things.

Looking good Jack! I like 37428 in sector livery.

I really need to get a new camera for Shalmstry, my HTC doesn't really work in anything other than natural daylight, I'll need to get Shalmstry outside for some photos on a nice day!

Hi thanks for the kind comments chaps.

James, it's Suprising how much different a camera makes compared to a phone camera, hopefully the nice weather will stick around aswel!

37428 is a nice looking edition well done Bachmann! The only thing Is the bogies tend to wander slightly but maybe adding more weight will help, plus more traction! 66 wanders like a lost sheep too! Must be my track laying lol!

NSE DAZ, thanks for kind comment, layout coming on now, just need to crack on with lights and more touching up in Places.

And of course running trains!

Jack :)

The bogies on my Bachmann 37254 so wander a bit, maybe it's recurring problem? It's never too serious to actually derail it, because it's DCC Sound it weighs nearly the same as a 1:1 model and it has really really good grip, without any traction tyres!

It must be a Bachmann thing ( not my track laying haha ) all my Hornby/lima/Heljan stuff seems to be fine. Bachmann 66 is the worse of them all i tend to keep that on depot as its just plain annoying when it runs on the branchline, especially when it clowts the bridge.

wow all that weight and grip must be amazing, i remebered i had a lima 47 in RES in the loft, i took the traction tyre's off to replace them, i never actually got round to it and forgot about it until last year, it wouldn't even pull its self from a standing start, wheel spin!! good old Lima, can't go wrong with rigid bodies and deep flanges never used to derail.

right...back to autotrader for new car...! :0

The Lima pole driven ones like 20's and 67's old style are ok, but the cog motors are pretty bad to be honest.

I love the Bachmann 20's they look the business! Hopefully you'll find ltd ed DRS Bachmann one!!

My next task is to fill the centre depot section with vans and cars, maybe a short wheel base tanker lorry next to the fuel point aswell.

:nono: not impressed! my Bachmann 66 derialing problem is getting worse, there's so much "play" betweeen the flanges and side of the rails! its just like a lost lamb wandering around, well, im tempted to re-chassis the 66, see if it makes a defference i may have a duff one of the batch! or maybe i've knocked it out of place somehow...

I started work on the fuel point canopy today. just waiting for the glue to set before adding the roof. also whilst the roof is off it will allow me to detail the section a bit further.
