Guest 34008Padstow
Before i embark on my new exhibition layout i thought i'd try my hand at another photo plank. This is mainly to test new scenic ideas again. The plank consists of two sidings towards the back of an FGW maintenance depot, which ive decided to call Chyanmor. I will post some pics tomorrow as im waiting for ballast to dry. The pic that started the new plank http://www.flickr.co...57628829489055/

You still off to Penzance soon? Your going to need a bigger memory card in your camera lol. Jack.
Guest 34008Padstow
Lol, thanks chaps. Hopefully in 2weeks should be off to PZ. I think i'll need a couple memory cards lol
Jack00
Is it going to operational or just diorama style? jack.
Guest 34008Padstow
Most probably just a diorama, although im going to try and add some working lights eventually.
Jack00
That will be good! i found some colour light signal gantories kit at KMRC for about £11, was thinking they would make great flood light gantories over the depot, just like the one's at LR. i guess fixing lights on would be just as simple as fixing on the colour light signals..... RMweb Premium Gwiwer Posted February 7, 2012 RMweb Premium Share Posted February 7, 2012 Keep us posted and take lots of pictures! I'll be in Penzance myself in a few weeks' time and as always it can't come soon enough and I always allow extra memory on the camera. An on-the-run upload facility can be handy as well such as plugging the camera into a public computer and uploading to a cloud server.
